User Administrator: How to Set a Delegation
Maybe you have a team member who is away unexpectedly, or they were so excited about their upcoming holiday that they forgot to set up an acting delegation in Proof. Or maybe you have a new staff member who needs to be set up as a clerk for a group or another individual.
In this article, I will show you how to set an acting or clerking delegation for someone on your team.
Note: These super powers require specific permission settings within the application. Please contact [email protected] if you believe you should have these credentials assigned to your user profile.
First, click on the ‘Users’ tab on the left navigation bar.

If you don't see the Users tab, but have been granted administrative rights, you should be able to access the user list through the following URLs:
All users within your organization will be visible but you are only able to set a delegation for people in your unit!
You will see a search option at the top of your table. Type in the name of the person here and click on their name once you’ve located them.

To the bottom right of your profile, you will see an orange tab called ‘Account Delegation’. Click there!

Select either an acting or clerking delegation, enter the name of the person managing the delegation, set the time frame, click ‘save’ and you’re all set!
