Most users in the system will be regular users. They’ll be able to create routings, and update the permissions of any routing they are a participant of, but won’t be able to control system settings.
But any Proof tenant will have at least one system administrator, and possibly other administrative users, that can oversee routings, or pockets of them, and support user delegation in case of absences from the office.

User administrators are used in some of the largest Proof installs and helpful in creating delegations in the event of unplanned absences from the office - whether an illness or the sudden departure of a senior official.
Every routing in Proof belongs to a unit. Many installs use only a single unit, but larger installs may create multiple units to give selective visibility of routings to administrative staff, or to support the configuration of different routing types and routing steps.
The term “unit” is modelled after “business unit” as it is used to model groups of various sizes from small departments, to branches or branch sub-groups in larger installs.
